1928 Alabama "colored" Men names, addresses & occupations

I'm excited by what I found while processing case files at NARA @ Atlanta! Hopefully one of these will help my fellow genealogist in their research.

‘Colored’ witnesses for the claimant names, occupations & addresses [presumably in Mobile, Ala.] Summons issued June 25, 1928

Samuel Taylor -  South side St. Anthony 2^nd east of Dearborn Street  - ship fireman

J.C. Boyce  [Julius Boyce Shamrock] – 1317 Pecan Street “summons served to his wife” – lookout man

H. [Harry?]  [Harold?] Henry – 109 Lawrence Street – able bodied seaman

              James Stewart – [ship fireman] 66 South Water Street

              Charles Kelly - 108 Commerce Street – coal passer           

              Hu(e)rbert Shand – 950 St. Medar Street – able seaman

Robert Powell  - 602 Davidson Street – saloon mess boy

             H. Clements – 160 State Street - note on summons “said to be in New York”

Bennett Baptiste – 506 Davis Avenue “summons served to the wife” – ship steward

H. Rudolph Banks – 66 South Water Street

             Arthur Hawkins – 313 ½ North Royal Street -  ship fireman

             Edward Samuels – 66 South Water Street – ship fireman

Reginald Clarke – 160 North Bayou Street – ship fireman

             Vincent McLarty – 66 South Water Street – ordinary seaman

            George Elliott – ship fireman
