U.S.A. vs British Auxiliary Schooner “Deauville” and Order Distributing Liquors.
The court found the “Deauville” guilty of violation of the Tariff Act

Also in the case files is a letter from the Board of Health Mobile, Alabama, Dr. C. A. Mohr stating he sampled the Canadian Club, Hiram Walker & Son, Indian Hill, Huntley Blend, Old Moss, Gold Label Bourbon, Green River & Golden Wedding, liquors were all “straight goods” and safe for medicinal use.
